Site Rules

When you sign up to become a Mystic Keeper (player), you are agreeing to conduct yourself by the Site Rules and Terms of Service. If at any time you are in breach of any of these, you forfeit your right to any game currency, Mystics, accounts etc. made within the site.

Tags/Avatars for upgraded players must not exceed 150x150px. If you are found with anything larger you will be contacted to reduce or remove. If you refuse it will be removed for you and you will be fined

No HTML is allowed in Display Names - there are certain aspects of the site that this will effect

Signature images should not exceed 150px in height and 500px in width

Users are encouraged to style their Cottage, Forest, and Mystic pages with HTML/CSS but the site navigation bar MUST always be present on every page within the site and any external scripts (Chat Boxes, Shoutboards etc. are not allowed

Mystical Equine is aimed at players 13 years and older. We do not allow players under 13 years to play the game. Anyone found to be in breach of this will be banned from site use.

You are allowed a maximum of 2 accounts. This is classed as having the login details for 2 accounts maximum. Admin and Moderators will be monitoring this closely.

Accounts are monitored by IP addresses, so if you share a computer you MUST inform a Mod of the situation or face investigation and a possible fine for multiple account use. This also includes baby sitting accounts, logging into a friends account, etc. If you sign into more than your allotted 2 accounts we will see it and will investigate it. So, if you are baby sitting an account please get permission from the admin/staff of the site and make sure you let us know the length of time you are baby sitting. If admin/staff says it is okay you will still be watched carefully until the other user returns.

We DO allow shared accounts, but careful consideration must be made before you go into account sharing with anyone. MysticalEquine.com can not be held responsible for any loss of game currency, Mystics, Accounts etc. that comes from this. You must still abide by the 2 Account rule, thus if you are sharing this must not take you over having the login details for more than 2 accounts (ie. You can have a main account and a shared account and that is the limit)

Upgraded accounts does not exclude you from any of the Site Rules or Terms of Service. If you violate any/all of them, you are bound by the same rules as our basic users and forfeit any claim to game currency, Mystics, Accounts, etc.

We DO NOT allow MysticalEquine Accounts/Currency/Acorns or anything related to MysticalEquine to be sold for real money in ANY capacity, either advertised within site or elsewhere. This is zero tolerance and any users found to be entering into/initiating any type of exchange of this kind forfits their rights to their Accounts/Items/Currency

We have this rule to protect our users from those that wish to scam or cheat

At MysticalEquine we take pride in our excellent community. Those that simply wish to cause hassle and drama to our users are not welcome.

You are required to conduct yourself in a decent manner while chatting and posting within MysticalEquine.com. We will not tolerate any form of slander, bullying, harassment, or general bad behavior from any of our users. This includes any personal attacks/rants against individuals in chat or forums.

All Moderators and Admin are there to ensure all of our users have a pleasent experience while using MysticalEquine. From time to time this may mean you have to be reminded of your conduct in a public environment and we ask that you listen to these reminders. We do not tolerate abuse of our staff in any capacity. You will be warned once for any continued ignorance of these reminders. Failure to comply can mean a tempory ban from Forums/Chat/The Site for you to calm down.

While MysticalEquine.com appreciates our players views and opinions, there are certain topics that can create a hostile environment which we do not want to endorse. Please refrain from topics that may cause offense (if we need to we will actually add topics but we would like to believe that the majority of you can be responsible enough)

While the odd LOL or BBL is OK, we do request that you try to keep any chat speak to a minimum in Live Chat and Forums. Posts littered with Chat Speak or one word posts are not allowed. Anyone found to be abusing these chat rules will recieve a warning. If this continues, on the spot $10,000 fines will be imposed

No posting of direct images or direct website links in chat

No advertising in chat

Any Auctions for Items, Mystics or Acorns (excluding Multiple Item Packages) MUST be conducted through the offical Market Central Auctions and not via the Forums, Shouts or via Private Messages. The reason for thiis is that we maintain a comprehensive log of all offical Auction actions and we can help mediate with any issues that may arise.

Any art you use within MysticalEquine MUST be your own work or if you use another persons art you must have permission to use it. This covers ALL aspects of art including (but not limited to) Tags/Avatars/Mystics/Gardens/Banners. Anyone found to be using artwork that is not their own without permission, the artwork will be taken down and you will be fined 25% of your total money. If you persist with displaying this type of artwork you will have your account frozen and reported to the original artist.

Unless otherwise stated OR with permission from the Site Owner (Avalon #1), NO artwork owned by MysticalEquine.com should be used off site. This is without question and if any MysticalEquine artwork is found being used elsewhere your account will be deleted and you will be reported to whatever site the artwork is being used.

We do understand a number of you play other sites besides MysticalEquine.com. We encourage links between these sites and we do allow trading between any sites that allow this too. Please follow the site rules from these sites regarding trading. This is done at your own risk and MysticalEquine.com can not be held responsible for any trades that go wrong. Also, we will not tolerate any attacks in chat or forums against other sites. If you have a problem with other sites you need to take this up personally with them.

While alluding to MysticalEquine off site you are reminded that you are representing the site and its inclusive Site Rules and Terms Of Service. Off site bashing or false representation of MysticalEquine is not tolerated. We reserve the right to request removal of anything that comprises the integrity of MysticalEquine in any capacity.

We do not allow the sale of services for RL Currency within MysticalEquine. This includes (but is not limited to) direct sales of art, services, other site sales of Accounts/Items/Currency or real life Items. You are welcome to advertise DeviantArt, Ebay sales, personal sites etc to sell items in a controlled environment. We do this to protect our players from scammers/cheaters

All Moderators, Admin and Helpers are there to make sure everything runs smoothly and you can enjoy your time at MysticalEquine.com. They give up their free time to do this and deserve a certain level of respect from the MysticalEquine.com community. This said, anyone abusing their responsibilities will be dealt with in the same way as anyone else and no preferential treatment is given. The staff team are hand picked by Avalon and when we are in need of more staff we will more than likely pick from those that have shown commitment and helpfulness during their time within MysticalEquine.com.

As with any new game, we are currently going though our teething stage. We know that from time to time you may have difficulty with certain aspects of the site. Please inform our staff team by using the appropriate board in the forums and we will do our best to rectify any issues you have. However, if the problem could lead to compromising the site in anyway and you deem it to be a major flaw, please contact an admin/moderator immediately. Anyone found abusing any bugs/glitches could face anything from fines to permanent site bans.

We try to ensure the site is kept available for our users but at periodic times it may be necessary to close the site for a few hours for general maintenance. We will endeavor to ensure this is done during quiet periods.
